vSide is a music and party-focused social virtual world originally developed by Doppelganger . In 2007, Faust Logic integrated Arcane FX middleware with vSide’s heavily customized Torque Game Engine and contributed a few special effects. Notable effects include the teleportation effect observed when avatars warp between zones and an applause-driven star effect used during performance events.

In 2009, Doppelganger was disbanded and vSide was acquired by ExitReality who continues to host the site.
